Senior IPS officer Naval Bajaj has been appointed as new ATS boss.
As per a directive issued by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, IPS officer Naval Bajaj has been mandated for the position of Director, ATS.
A year 1995 batch IPS officer Nawal Bajaj has been assigned responsibility as the Chief of the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Wednesday.
The post was lying vacant for last three months since late March, after the promotion of the previous ATS chief, Sadanand Date, to DG, National Investigation Agency.
