Delhi CS Naresh Kumar has urged for a stay on arrest in a graft case.
IAS Naresh Kumar, Delhi’s Chief Secretary, has aproached Uttarakhand High Court with a request to get a stay order on his arrest in a corruption case.
The case was registered against him on April 11, 2024 in Almora. The lawyer of Delhi CS had filed a petition a couple of days ago following which the HC registry office asked the lawyer to file a fresh plea. The Court considered it as a ‘defective application’.
This prompt the counsel to furnish more documents, hence now the case will be put up for hearing on May 22.
