IAS officer N Prasanth has been moved from SC/ST Development Dept to Agriculture in the state of Kerala
In a recent directive issued by the state administrative of Kerala year 2007-batch IAS officer N Prasanth has been mandated to be transferred into a new department of the state.
Following the order, officer N Prasanth has been removed from his post as the Special Secretary of the SC/ST Development and Backward Classes Development. Subsequently he has been posted as the Special Secretary in the Department of Agriculture by the Kerala government.
Prasanth has been accused of not clearing the files at his disposal. On this the incumbent Additional Chief Secretary of the Administrative Department, Dr. A Jaytilak (1991 batch IAS) sought explanation from Prasanth for the alleged irregularities. Eventually the officer has been now removed from his post.
