Corona virus is becoming dangerous day by day despite the nationwide lockdown in India. In view of this many medical institute of india are trying to make corona vaccine. Dr. Jagat Ram, Director of Chandigarh PGI said that the safety trial of the drug has been completed but the actual trial will onbe done 40 patients of PGI Chandigarh, AIIMs Delhi and AIIMS Bhopal. In the past the human trial of MW vaccine authorised by Indian council of Medical Research(ICMR) was approved by the ethics committee of PGI.
In fact, the MW vaccine has been used in PGI earlier on patients in the pulmonary department. This medicine is already being used in disease like TB, Sepsis. But it will be used for the first time in corona. 40 corona patients will be tried in AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Delhi and PGI Bhopal.
