The 1985 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre, Girish Chandra Murmu presently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance vice Ms. Snehlata Shrivastava, lAS (MP:1982) on her appointment as Secretary, Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice.
Murmu is now Addl Secretary, Dept of Financial Services
