IAS officers Muktanand Agarwal and Prajakta L Verma have been assigned new administrative roles the Centre.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointments of IAS Muktanand Agarwal (RJ:2008), as CEO (JS level), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (PMFBY), Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare. He will be serving on the new position from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of 5 years upto 06.11.2027, or until further orders.
Simultaneously, IAS officer Prajakta L Verma (MH:2001) has been posted as Joint Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy. She will be serving on the new position from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure of 5 years upto 23.03.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
