The 1981 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, Ms. Vrinda Sarup has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of School Education & Literacy mission in the government of India on December 31. Ms. Sarup will succeed R. Bhattacharya (IAS, AP:78) on his retirement on 31 Dec, 2014.
