IPS officers Mohit Agarwal and Mutha Ashok have given new postings in UP. Recently three top cops have been reshuffled in the state of Uttar Pradesh including Mohit Agarwal and Mutha Ashok.
A minor bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh witnesses a minor reshuffle in in Police Department of the state. Prior to the implementation of the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections 2024, state government of UP has transferred three senior IPS officers with new postings.
Among the three senior IPS Officers who have been reshuffled are Mohit Agarwal, Nilabja Chaudhary and Mutha Ashok Jain.
Year 1997 batch IPS officer Mohit Agarwal is to hold the position of the new Police Commissioner of Varanasi. At present he was serving as Additional Director General of Police in Uttar Pradesh ATS.
Simultaneously year 1995 batch IPS officer Mutha Ashok Jain has been entrusted new administrative role as Additional DGP, Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board Lucknow. Currently Ashok was rendering services as the Police Commissioner, Police Commissionerate Varanasi.
