Modi’s first move as PM, SIT on “Black Money”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s first cabinet meeting held on Tuesday set a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to unearth the “Black Money”. The SIT includes retired Supreme Court Judge M. B. Shah as head of the team, Former SC Judge Arijit Pasayat as Vice Chairman and the other assistant members are Revenue Secretary, Directors of CBI, IB, RAW and ED, the CBDT chairman and the RBI deputy governor. The government was given a week by the SC to set up n SIT.
