Kamla Beniwal, Mizoram’s Governor has been sacked from the service on Wednesday by the Narendra Modi’s Government. Former Union Secretary, Vinod Kumar Duggal who is the present governor of Manipur will hold additional charge of Mizoram.
Among those who resigned after the government’s signals were B.L. Joshi (Uttar Pradesh), M.K. Narayanan (West Bengal), Shekhar Dutt (Chhattisgarh), Ashwani Kumar (Nagaland), and B.V. Wanchoo (Goa).
