Shalabh Tyagi is no more working as Joint Secretary (Personnel & Coordination) for the Department of Defence Production. He has now been appointed as Government Nominee of MIDHANI.
The Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) has made an announcement regardings its Board changes.The appointment of Shalabh Tyagi is considered as a new hope of the company biz. Being a Government Nominee of Director on the Board he has taken the charge with effect from December 8, 2023.
Following the tenure conclusion of SP Yadav, JS (LS), as Government Nominee Director of the Company, he has been replaced by Tyagi.
A distinguished member of the 1997 batch of the IRSEE (Indian Railway Services of Electrical Engineers), Shalabh Tyagi is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur.
Tyagi has played crucial role in the “Mission 100% Electrification” of Indian Railways broad gauge network which is one of the significant visions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He was the one under whose supervision almost 400% increase in annual commissioning of new lines Electrification could be achieved.
