Manobendra Ghoshal has taken charge as Chief Managing Director of MSTC Ltd today.
The Metal Scrap Trade Corporation Limited welcomes its new CMD. Assuming charge as the CMD, Manobendra Ghoshal (IRSME: 1985) has replaced Surinder Kumar Gupta who retired on December 31, 2023.
Currently Manobendra Ghoshal was working as Chief Strategy Officer in RITES. He was also a Nominee Director of SRBWIPL. The SRBWIPL is a JV of SAIL and RITES for manufacture of Wagons.
The PESB (a public-sector headhunter) selected Ghoshal for the coveted post on September 25, 2023. Then the ACC headed, by PM, cleared his appointment on December 13, 2023 as the new Chief Managing Directo of MSTC Ltd.
MSTC Ltd is a Mini Ratna Category-I PSU under the administrative control of the Ministry of Steel (GoI).
Ghoshal will be serving on the post as MSTC CMD till his retirement which is due on March 31, 2028.
