Man Mohan Bhanot senior Deputy Secretary in finance division of External Affairs Ministry has been appointed India’s next ambassador to Syria. S R Meena is currently Charge d’affaires of the Indian Mission in Damascus.Bhanot is expected to take up his assignment shortly.
