Major reshuffle of IPS officers in Maharashtra

As many as 20 IPS officers have been transferred and posted at different places in Maharashtra. Accordingly,

  1. A C Kulkarni has been promoted as Additional Director General of Police (ADG).
  2. V V Laxminarayan was also promoted as ADG.
  3. Jai Jeet Singh is ADG of Maharashtra State Security Corporation.
  4. V K Choubey, who was on Central deputation, has been made IGP, Nashik Range
  5. Chiranjeev Prasad as IGP, Nanded Range.
  6. Amitabh Gupta as IGP, legal metrology department.
  7. Ravindra as Nagpur city additional commissioner of police.
  8. Makarand Ranade as additional CP, Thane.
  9. KG Patil as DIG ACB; D Mandlik promoted as DIG.
  10. Rajkumar Vathkar as IGP.
  11. Krishna Prakash as new IGP, VIP security.
  12. Shivaji Bodke as IGP, Naxal, at Nagpur.
  13. Prakash Mutyal as IGP, SRPF at Nagpur.
  14. Vitthal Jadhav as IGP, CID.
  15. PN Raskar as IGP at Maharashtra Intelligence Academy at Pune.
  16. Shahaji Sounkhe as DIG prison.
  17. Kishore Jadhav as IGP, Human Rights.
  18. R C Chavan as IGP wireless, Pune.
  19. Nitin Pawar as new DCP of Amravati city.
  20. Shrikant Tarawade was made DIG, CID-Pune.
