Many IAS officers have been reshuffled in Delhi Government. Accordingly, the post of Divisional Commissioner held by 1996 IAS officer A Anbarasu will now have a new occupant in Manisha Saxena from the same batch. Saxena will hold an additional charge of Secretary-cum-Commissioner of Development Department. Anbarasu now holds charge of Services Department and Land and Building Department.
Delhi Jal Board CEO Keshav Chandra has been relieved of the additional charge as Secretary (Tourism). IAS officer Vikram Dev Dutt of 1993 batch will now hold this charge apart from being posted as the new Secretary-cum-Commissioner (Transport). He replaces Sandeep Kumar, a 1997 IAS officer. Kumar has been posted as CMD of Delhi Transport Corporation. He has been relieved of his charge as Secretary, Irrigation & Flood Control. Chandra will now hold charge of irrigation and Flood Control Department in additional capacity.
Senior bureaucrat Janak Digal, a 1985 IAS, has been relieved of his additional charge of Principal Secretary (Power). He will continue to hold additional charge as Principal Secretary (Urban Development).
Power Secretary Varsha Joshi, a 1995 batch IAS, has been given the additional charge of Secretary (General Administration). A 2006-batch IAS, Ashok Kumar has been posted as Special Secretary (General Administration) and Special Secretary (Power). VK Beniwal, a 2003 batch IAS, holding the post of Special Secretary (Education) has been posted as Member (Administration) in DJB.
