54 officers of Indian Police Service from the rank of IG to Additional Superitendent are transferred and posted to different places in west Bengal. Some of them are given below:
- Jayaraman was removed from the post of Police Commissioner and was on a compulsory waiting since December
- Godala Kiran Kumar in connection with alleged financial scam under the Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA)
- R Sivakumar, IGP IPS Cell has been appointed as IG(CID) Special IG
- Ajay Kumar Nand, DIG Midnapore Range has been transferred as the special IG and DIG (CIF training), government
- Shankar Dutta, DIG (Organisation) has been transferred as DIG CID (Special)
- Anand Kumar, DIG Presidency Range has been transferred as DIG Traffic
- Ashok Kumar Prasad, DIG Murshidabad Range has been transferred as DIG IPS Cell
- Ajoy Kumar Ghosh, DIG traffic has been transferred as DIG Midnapore Range
- Dilip Kumar Adak from DC Traffic to DIG CID(O)
- Basab Dasgupta from DC Kolkata Armed Police 4th Battalion to DIG (Home Guards)
- Ashok Kumar Biswas from DC Reserve Force to DIG (Organisation) Subrata Kumar Mitra from DC South West (Behala Division) to DIG Presidency Range
- Milan Kanta Das from SRP Howrah to DIG (Administration)
- Kallol Ganai from DC Headquarters at Barrackpore to DIG Murshidabad Range
- Rabindra Nath Mukhopadhyay from SP WBPRB to DIG Railways.
- Bastab Baidya, DC Special Task Force (STF) has been transferred to DC North Division
- DC North Solomon Nesakumar, DC Port has been asked to take over as DC Traffic.
- Gourav Sharma, DC North has been transferred to DC South East Division replacing Debabrata Das, who has been asked to take over as Commandant state Armed Police 3rd Battalion
