Mahua Banerjee: New Chairperson, West Bengal PSC

Retired IAS officer Mahua Banerjee has been appointed Chairperson, WBPSC in the state of West Bengal.

West Bengal Governor Anand Bose has approved the recommendation of the government of West Bengal and thus has appointed the retired IAS officer, Mahua Banerjee, as the Chairperson of the Public Service Commission (PSC) of West Bengal.

The post of  the State PSC Chief was vacant for a long time which resulted in the delayed recruitment of several government posts in West Bengal through PSC.

Now the government job aspirants are heaving a sigh of relief that with the appointment of Officer Banerjee, the lackadaisical recruitment processes would receive much-required momentum.
