IAS Maheshwar Rao has been appointed as MD in Bengaluru Metro.
Year 1995 batch IAS officer from the Karnataka-cadre, Maheshwar Rao M has been appointed by Karnataka government. He will be holding the position as MD, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).
Now after around 6 months, Namma Metro is going to be headed by a full-time Managing Director. Karnataka government appointed Maheshwar Rao M as the MD of the BMRCL. Mr. Rao will succeed Anjum Parwez, who was leading the BMRCL for last three years since July 2021.
