Ministry of Home Affairs has asked the Government of Madhya Pradesh to relieve Pawan Kumar Shrivastava of cadre responsibility enabling him to join as Inspector General in Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D). He is a 1992 batch IPS officer of MP cadre.
