The two IPS officers of 1984 batch are soon be empanelled for the post of ADG in Government of India. The officers are:
- Santosh Macheria of Manipur-Tripura cadre, He is presently serving in the state.
- A.K. Sarkar of West Bengal cadre.
Macheria and Sarkar soon be enlisted as ADG, Govt of India
