The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to extend lockdown further for two more weeks beyond 3 May under the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
After the current Covid-19 situation in the country issued the order to extend the lockdown till 17 May and Aarogya setu app is mandatory for the people living in containment zones. As per the MHA guidlines the following things are allowed to operate during the two weeks.
1. In orange zones, inter district movement is allowed to individuals and vehicles for permitted activites, taxis and cab with one driver and two passengers are allaowed.
2. All industrial and constructional activites are allowed in rural areas, including MNREGA works, brick kilns and food processing units.
3. Liquor and paan shops are allowed to funtion in green areas with certain a guidlines like six feet distance with each other and five people at one time in shop.
4. Movement of peole by trains, aiplanes and road will be allowed for only selected purposes.
5. OPD’s and medical clinics are permitted to open in Red, Orange and Green zones with social distancing.
