Yesterday a news of hard talk between SSP Lucknow Deepak Kumar and SP STF Nageshwar singh came out. Few of media persons in Lucknow blown it out of proportion and tried to portray negative image of Mr. Kumar unnecessarily. Though it was a routine talk between a senior and junior officer. Which they must have settled down later.
As far as Deepak Kumar is concerned, he is very cool in his attitude but at the same time very quick in decision making. But since his joining as SSP to state capital of UP,this IPS of 2005 batch has been in news constantly. A section of media in Lucknow started a campaign against him though he has performed quite well in his previous postings and his track record is very good. Even in this posting also he is working 24/7 in order to maintain a smooth law and order situation in city.
Keeping in view of his excellent track record Yogi government has given him this prime posting. One thing which is also noticeable that in last few days Lucknow Police has cracked few high profile cases under his leadership and he has always been seen in action.
He is a totally media friendly person and his integrity to his job is unquestionable.
