Lalu and Nitish’s mega alliance result out as success in Bihar By polls, Out of the 10 seats that went to bypoll, BJP had 6 seats in the 2010 Assembly election while RJD had 3 and JD(U) 1. Lalu Yadav is in a Mumbai hospital for a scheduled heart check-up and might undergo heart valve transplant surgery. His party the RJD contested four seats, Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) four and junior partner in the state, Congress, contested two.
