Krishna Swaminathan has assumed chrge as Vice Chief of the Indian Naval Staff.
Today on May 01, 2024, Vice Admiral Krishna Swaminathan has taken charge as Vice Chief of the Naval Staff. On assuming the charge, the Flag Officer placed a floral wreath at the National War Memorial paying homage to Bravehearts who made the supreme sacrifice in service of the nation.
Krishna Swaminathan was Commissioned into the Indian Navy thirty seven years ago on July 01, 1987. He is known to be a specialist in Communication and Electronic Warfare. An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla, Krishna Swaminathan also belongs to the Joint Services Command & Staff College, Shrivenham, United Kingdom; the College of Naval Warfare, Karanja; as well as the United States Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island, USA.
