IAS Kharkongor has been posted as Senior Advisor to Agro-Logistics under MITP in the north eastern state of Meghalaya.
Retired Indian Administrative Services officer Kharkongor has been called back and given a new role as Senior Advisor to Meghalaya Agro-Logistics under MITP.
Kharkongor will be holding the position for around six months till 30 June 2024.
Senior Indian Administrative Officer Kharkongor is among the four retired IAS Officers who have been assigned new roles in Meghalaya Government.
The state government of Meghalaya has entrusted new responsibilities to four retired IAS officers in different councils and one of them IAS Kharkongor has been given responsibility in Meghalaya Agro-Logistics under MITP.
Apart from IAS Kharkongor, the three others are Hector Marwein, Prashant Naik and Ram Mohan Mishra.
