K. B. Biswas, Member (ED & MM) of Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) has been appointed as officiating Chairman of CGWB. He will hold this charge for a period of three months or till a regular incumbent is appointed, whichever is earlier. He succeeds Dr. RC Jain who retired on November 30, 2014.
