Two top bureaucrats have been appointed as Managing Directors in the state of Karnataka.
Following a recently issued directive by the state administration, over 12 IAS officers have been shifted in Karnataka. Out of the chosen officers Dr Shiva Shankara N and Mahantesh Bilagi who have been appointed as Managing Direectors.
IAS officer Dr Shiva Shankara N has been appointed as Managing Director of Bengaluru Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM), Bengaluru, while Mahantesh Bilagi is going to take over as Managing Director, Karnataka State Minerals Corporation Limited, Bengaluru
