IAS officer K Sanjay Murthy has been appointed new Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India.
The President of India, in a significant administrative development, has deputed IAS K Sanjay Murthy as the new Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India. The significant appointment has come up two days ahead of the completion of Girish Chandra Murmu’s tenure.
A year 1989-batch IAS officer from the Himachal Pradesh cadre, K Sanjay Murthy, is going to take charge of the new office on November 21, 2024, succeeding the outgoing Murmu.
Currently K Sanjay Murthy is serving as Secretary in the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education,
