IAS officers Garima Bhagat & Niraj Kumar have been assigned Joint Secertary positions at the Center.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of IRS Garima Bhagat (IT/1996), as Joint Secretary in the Department of Defence Production. He will be serving for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Anurag Bajpai, IFoS (MN:1994).
Appointment of CSS officer Niraj Kumar has also been approved simultaneously, as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Monalisa Dash, IFoS (SK:2003);
