IFS Officer Brij Mohan Sharma has been appointed as Principal Secretary of J&K Culture Department.
The Jammu & Kashmir government has appointed Brij Mohan Sharma, a 1995-batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer from the AGMUT cadre, as the Principal Secretary of the Culture Department.
According to an official order issued on April 2, 2025, his appointment comes following his transfer to the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. Mr. Sharma will succeed Sanjeev Verma, a 2001-batch IAS officer from the AGMUT cadre, who was previously handling the position as an additional charge.
