A panel comprising four IPS officers has been shifted to the Union Public Service Commission.
Lately through a notification, the state administration of Jharkhand , has mandated to names of four IPS officers for the posting into UPSC for the post of DGP of the state amid controversy over the appointment of acting DGP.
In the list, the state government has included names of Anil Palta (IPS: 1990: JH), Anurag Gupta (IPS: 1990: JH), Prashant Singh (IPS: 1992: JH) and RK Mallick (IPS: 1992: JH) in the panel.
