Jayant Sinha appointed as JS, Defence

The 1990 batch IA&AS officer, Jayant Sinha has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence, on completion of his tenure in the Seventh Central Pay Commission, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for a period of overall five year central deputation upto 04.04.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Sanjeev Ranjan, lAS(TR:1985).
