According to sources CJI TS Thakur has recommended justice JS Khehar name for next Chief Justice of India. Jagdish Singh Khehar(born 28 August 1952) is a judgeof the Supreme Court of India. He was appointed on 13 September 2011 and will be the next Chief Justice of India when incumbent CJI T S Thakur retires on 4th January 2017.
