Iyer appointed Senior Advisor, World Bank

The 1981 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, S V Iyer has been appointed as the Senior Adviser – in charge of the Infrastructure Development for India – in the World Bank. It is learnt that this senior level appointment follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking the world Bank President to generously support his vision for a resurgent India with Information, latest know-how and funding.
