Indian Police Services officer Swagat Das is likely to be DGP in Chhattisgarh state.
A 1987 batch IPS officer Swagat Das originally hails from Chhattisgarh cadre. Das is supposed to be relieved to become Director General of Police, Chhattisgarh.
In case Das does not get relieved, it might be 1992 batch IPS officer, Arun Dev Gautam who may be the new DGP of the state.
