IRS (C&CE) officers of batch 1984-86 likley to be promoted as CC

Indian Revenue Service officers of C&CE cadre are likely to be promoted to the post of Chief Commissioner. The file is reportedly lying with the Finance Minister which may soon be sent to the ACC for its ratification.
