Recently the members of the Andhra Pradesh (AP) IPS Officers’ Association has made a complaint reaching to the Chief Electoral Officer. Year 1989 batch senior IPS officer Mukesh Kumar Meena has thus presented their grievance.
The officers fetch the ECI’s attention towards a troubling trend where over thirty IPS members have faced undue defamation and scrutiny in the past two months. They have attributed this to deliberate slander from certain interest groups. and political entities.
