IPS Himanshu Kumar has been suspended due to charges of indiscipline. His wife has registered a case of dowry against him also. He was removed from Firozabad district on 2 March. 2010-batch IPS officer alleged in a series of tweets that seniors in the department are targeting subordinates with the Yadav surname recently.
Himanshu Kumar was, attached with the director general of police’s (DGP) office in Lucknow.
