MHA has removed IPS Gyaneshwar Singh from the post of CVO, NCB.
As per the information, IPS Singh has been was booted out of office after allegations of misconduct and dereliction of duty surfaced.
Officer Singh is the one who led the vigilance inquiry into allegations made by a witness against Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director Narcotics Control Bureau, Mumbai.
Yesterday on Friday April 19th, 2024 another controversial bureaucrat IPS Gyaneshwar Singh (1999 batch) has been removed from the designation of the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Singh was the officer involved in the contentious Cordelia Cruise drug investigation case which involved Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan.
