The Centre has inducted two DANICS Officers to IAS rank.
Lately, the Union government has announced promotion of two bureaucrats hailing from the DANICS (Delhi, Andaman and Lakshadweep, Dadra, Nicobar Island, Lakshadweep, and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Civil Service) cadre into the IAS.
Officers T Philip Thanglienmanq and Neeraj Bhartiwho are set to retire in two days. They were recruited against 5 vacancies at the centre. Their promotion was awaited since year 2021.
