Status of two top officers have been changed at the Centre and Vaibhav Saxena and Ravi Shankar Shukla now have new portfolios.
Vaibhav Saxena, a 2016-batch IPS officer from the Kerala cadre, has been inducted into the National Investigation Agency (NIA) as Superintendent of Police for a tenure of five years.
Meanwhile, Ravi Shanker Shukla, a 2008-batch officer of the Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS) currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Textiles, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre.
