A proposal for imparting the AIEEE and NEET coaching under consideration, reveals Minister Dr Baljit Kaur. This may be effective from next years, added the minister.
Dr Baljit Kaur, Punjab Minister for Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities, has made the announcements towards starting free coaching for AIEEE and NEET candidates. This facility will support SC/BC and Minorities students at Ambedkar Institute of Careers. This will also be effective in the Courses at Mohali being run by the Department.
According to the Minister, the Department is committed to help the needy students and candidates desiring to pursue coaching in the Ambedkar Institute.
Currently the Institute is imparting coaching to PCS/IAS/Civil Services aspirants apart from running one year graduate stenography courses.
Simultaneously, 45 successful trainees who have succeeded in getting jobs in various departments of the State Government, were felicitated with a trophy & shawl.
Baljit Kaur says many students/candidates who respect the institute as their alma-mater, have bowed to the Institute for slating their career.
An announcement regarding enhancement in the existing stipend amount of PCS/IAS/Civil Services aspirants who are getting coaching here. This has now been raised from 3000 to 10000. For Stenography trainees this will be from 1500 to 5000 which was much awaited for many years.
The concept of imparting coaching to the needy candidates and weaker sections who are longing to grow in their lives by cracking competitive exams, is based on the direction given by Baba Sahib Ambedkar.
