The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the new appointments of IAS officers Vumlunmang Vualnam and Nikunja Bihari Dhal at the Centre.
Ccurrently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, IAS Vumlunmang Vualnam (MN:92) has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, succeeding Shri Manoj Govil, IAS (MP:91), who has been appointed as Secretary (Coordination), Cabinet Secretariat.
Simultaneously, IAS Nikunja Bihari Dhal (OR:93), currently serving in the cadre, has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, in place of Shri Umang Narula, IAS (AGMUT:89), who is set to retire on 30.06.2025.
