IAS officer Vikranth Raja A has been appointed as Director of Census Operation in the union territory of Lakshadweep.
A notification issued on February 22nd, by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), witnesses the 2015 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Vikranth Raja A, was mandated to assume office as the Director of Census Operation (DCO).
IAS Raja will simultaneously hold the responsibility of the Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) of Lakshadweep. He has been given a term of almost two yea, thus he will be on the position till December 31st, 2025, or until further notification, whichever transpires earlier.
Raja previously had served as the Chief Electoral Officer in Lakshadweep
