IAS officer Shelly Rathi has been appointed as Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister of Delhi.
Ms Shelly Rathi, a 2021-batch officer of the Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Service (DANICS), has been appointed as the Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister of Delhi. This appointment comes as part of a recent administrative reshuffle within the Delhi government.
Previously, Ms. Rathi served as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Kapashera under the Revenue Department, where she played a crucial role in ensuring effective governance. Her tenure in Kapashera was marked by her significant contributions to local administration, law enforcement, and public service management, earning her recognition for her dedication to public welfare.
In her new capacity, Ms. Rathi is expected to leverage her expertise in governance and administration to assist the Chief Minister’s office in handling key governmental functions and strategic policymaking.
