From this year onwards IAS probationers will start their career from Delhi,with a three-month stint at the Centre instead of cadre states they have been allocated, Union Minister Jitendra Singh has said.
The minister said the latest decision by the Personnel Ministry would provide an opportunity to the new Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to be groomed at the Centre before they moved over to their respective states of posting.
