IAS V Umashankar will be seen in bigger role now in the state of Haryana.
Undertaking significant organizational changes within the CMO, The Haryana government has redistributed fifty eight major departments among six top officers.
Year 1993 batch IAS officer V Umashankar originally hails from Haryana cadre. Umashankar is rendering services as the Principal Secretary to CM. Now With the jumbo restructuring by the Government of Haryana, with the recent order he has been assigned with new responsibilities.
Now V Umashankar has been assigned charge of most departments of state’s Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala. He will be handling management of Civil Aviation, Development and Panchayats, Institutional Finance and Credit Control, Finance, Mining and Geology, Social Justice, Planning, Empowerment, Antyodaya (SEWA), Welfare of SCs and BCs, Transport, Youth Empowerment, Urban Local Bodies, and Entrepreneurship along with Co-operation and Coordination of all the departments.
