Jammu Based IPS Officer Harish Kumar Gupta has been appointed as the new DGP of Andhra Pradesh.
Following a administrative development in the state of Andhra Pradesh, the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has mandated name of Jammu Based IPS Officer Harish Kumar Gupta for the position of DGP of Andhra Pradesh.
Becoming the new DGP of AP, IPS Gupta is to replace KV Rajendranath (1992 batch IPS) after he latter was transferred by the ECI on May 5, 2024
