The 1981 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre, Gangaram Aloria currently posted as Chief Secretary, Gujarat is set to retire on 31 July 2016. Chief Minister Anandiben Patel is in favour of giving Aloria an extension till the 8th Vibrant Gujarat Summit (VGS) which is to be held in January 2017. But from Prime Minister she did not get green signal so far.
