As many as 36 officers have been appointed as Additional Secretary or equivalent in the government of India. The appointed officers are:

- Sh. J. Rama Krishna Rao (IAS, BH:85) presently Joint Secretary in the Defence Production, Ministry of Defence has been Additional Secretary, Dept of Ex Serviceman Welfare in place of Sh. Anuo Chandra Pandey (IAS, UP:84).
- Arun Kumar (IAS, AM:83) presently Joint Secretary, Ministry of Mines has been appointed as Addl Secretary, Dept of Social Justice & Empowerment in place of Sh. Anoop Kumar Srivastava (IAS, AM:81).
- Ms. Usha Sharma (IAS, RJ:85) presently serving as Additional Secretary in General Ministry of Tourism is now appointed as Additional Secretary, D/o Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances in place of Anil Jha (IAS, BH:81)
- Ms. Surina Rajan (IAS, HY:85) presently serving as Joint Secretary, Dept of Defence is now appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Defence Production in place of Sh. Ashok Kumar Gupta (IAS, TN:81).
- Sunil Kumar Singh (IAS, BH:83) serving presently in cadre has been appointed as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Dept of Agricultural Research & Education, M/o Agriculture in place of Sh. Pradeep Kumar Pujari (IAS, GJ:81).
- Yogendra Tripathy (IAS, KN:85) presently serving as Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Dept of School Education & Literacy, M/o Human Resource Development is now appointed as Chairman & Managing Director in the Food Corporation of India under the D/o Food & public Distribution.
